Hello,I have lipomeningomyelocele which has been operated 4 times in the past, first when I was sixteen, last one in2014.I have had 2 surgeries to untetcher spinal cord from scar tissue, but last two times retetchering has occured due post-operative scar tissue.Since beginning of 2018 ive suffered under severe nerve pain, which started from genital area and then spreaded to everywhere under waistline, pain has been severely debilitating since then.I have tried almost all nerve pain medications including opioids, but I get serious side effects from every single one of them.Latest scenario I got extreme anxiety from tramadol withdrawal and im experiencing harsh symptoms from almost all medicine, except Lyrica at the dosage 375mg,it has helped a little but I can walk only max one km a day.I have asked for help from different specialists in Finland, but according to them there is nothing to be done, sacral stimulator, tens etc have all been tried but without success.I have searched internet for alternative surgical techniques which could help to untetcher spinal cord, since normal open surgery hasnt helped in the past.So im asking your clinic for a second opinion.Do you think there is anything to be done?Could minimally invasive surgery help?Y sincerely,Silva Jalava.
